Monkey's Fist rope doorstop
Using a traditional fisherman’s Monkey’s Fist knot, this doorstop has a lead ball at its centre. The Monkey’s Fist knot is used at the end of a ‘heaving line’ that is thrown to shore when mooring a boat; significant for mariners in that it is their first point of contact with land.
